Winter is the season of Structure.  We see the elements of Water + Earth in the frozen ground and falling snow.  It’s a season for nourishment, comfort & love as we gather with friends & family and reflect on the year that passed.  But it can also be a season of heaviness:  difficult emotions, congestion in the mind & chest, or a slowness to your daily life.

 

Ayurveda, the 5,000-year-old health science from India, offers us tools to remain in balance & joy as we transition through the dark days of winter.
